Home Business--Small Business
Preamble to this
website
I am here to challenge you a
little. You won't read anything here about getting rich quick, or about my easy way to make money or any
other nonsense like that. If you stay long enough on this website you will find all kinds of nuggets that can help
you decide about a home based small business. There are also some very impressive small business resource
websites featured on various pages. This story can not be told in a 30 second TV commercial. It takes time and
effort by you to find out what you don't know. I am a hands on small business person not a professional
writer so you may have to dig a little but that's ok. I just don't want you checking your brain at the
door. If this is too much right now bookmark this website or add it to your favourites. It may grow on
you.
I am passionate about small
business because all small businesses originate as ideas in the mind of one person. That person can choose to
ignore that idea or he or she can run with it. It's that spirit that makes this exciting. It's free enterprise in
action. It's one special human being fulfilling his or her destiny by being the person
they were meant to be. Yes, it's about money too but it's also about independence, control, exercising your own
special creative genius and most of all being the best you can be.
Home Business Questions
There's a lot of press just lately about the
unemployment rates for the over 55 crowd-the leading edge of the Baby Boom generation Click here to read more. Maybe it's time to create your own job.
Thought about a home business lately? Could you work from home?If you watch the news, it would appear that it's
not a good time for anything but staying put. That's about the last thing anybody should be doing.
There's a lot of talk about the Great Depression we almost had. Sounds bad and it was really tough for some
people but others did well. Many people are still worried, uncertain and fearful of the future. Many are uncertain
that we are all through this mess yet. Other people are optimistic and charging ahead.
Why the difference?
Perhaps some people were attached to old habits, old jobs, old thinking and what used to be. They often don't
see that things are changing for the better but expect the poor economic conditions to continue.
Others see opportunity in problems. They see present financial problems as temporary and plan to be good and
ready to take advantage of the upturn when it happens.
Some people blame their circumstance while others create the circumstances they need
to succeed.
Some people are naturally pessimistic while others are optimistic. Which one are you?
Some people misread their doubts as proof they are wise and smarter than the crowd while others see their
"doubts" and do it anyway.
Where do you think the business owner fits here?
What's the real difference here? The facts are the same but the perception is different: the thinking is
different.
Owning your own business requires what has been termed as a "paradigm shift".
It requires you to see yourself in a new light.
If you always think of yourself as someone who needs a job, then you will never see the potential business
option or small business idea that sort of just floats by your nose like this one.
If you see yourself as a business owner, you are always looking for opportunity and always seeing
opportunities.
Unanswered Business Questions Can and Will Hold You Back:
1. A lot of people assume that opening your own business is expensive and requires specialized knowledge.
Some do, BUT NOT ALL DO.
2. A lot of people believe that having your own business occupies all your time. No time for family and other
interests.
Some do, BUT NOT ALL DO.
3. A lot of people believe that you could never do a business part time like a part time job.
Some do, BUT NOT ALL DO.
4. A lot of people believe that most home businesses on the net don't work. (Mostly right)
Some do not work, BUT SOME DO WORK.
5. A lot of people believe you can't make a lot of money at a home business.
Some home businesses are lousy as money makers, BUT NOT ALL ARE.
6. Some believe all network marketing/mlm opportunities are SCAMS. Some definitely are but not all.
(Note: You don't have to be an mlm to be a SCAM. Scam artists use anything that will make quick money for
them-that's all that matters) See my page on SCAMS and due diligence.
The bottom line in any business endeavour is you--- Not the opportunity or the product or the people
you currently know. What do you want? What are your goals and dreams? Can they be achieved doing what you are
doing?
I totally agree with Gary Vaynerchuk's value system as outlined in his book "Crush it". His
rules for success are:
Love Your Family
Work Superhard
Live your Passion
If you have other questions you would like answered call me on the telephone or fill in contact form
on Contact Page.
I have an opportunity for you which will help you thread the needle. If you tried other businesses, do not ever
give up. If you'd given up, you would have never have found this one which could be just the right one for you.
The above six questions above are just there to rock your boat a bit so you open your mind to
become a possibility thinker not a probability thinker. The mind, like a parachute, works better when it's open.
Look at Barack Obama: who would ever have thought that he could get where he got in 2 short years? You can do for
your life, what Obama did in his, with your home business. No, you won't become President but you will change your
life for the better.
What if there was a business out there that would change your life?
What if there was a proven business model to follow? Evaluate it for yourself.
What if there was almost unbelievable corporate support for your home business?
There's a number of twists here that people love that I won't mention now.
